Interpro?

Gumtree has been good to me this week, first up a Raleigh 20 folder for $20 that adds to mine and Mr 12’s collection(one rigid, one folder) for $20.
Then last night whilst killig time before a late night taxi run for Mr 12, I saw a listing come up on Gumtree.
Long story short, caught the guy early this morning and arranged a time mid arvo for looksee.

Hooked me an ex track bike that seemed a little small, but with a bit of post and thanks to an already long stem fit quite nice. I would have bought it just for the parts spec, bu the frame is kind of special too.

Hatta Swan njs headset.
Nitto bars.
Sugino 75 B/B
Dura ace Track cranks
Dura ace Chainring
Rear hub is Dura ace fixed/fixed with 2(stamped) dura ace sprocket and lock rings.

Frame is some crazy lightweight ally tube that is crimped like the colnago’s I’ve seen pic of.Steel inserts on the rear fork ends. Pics as follows are pretty much as bought except I’ve fitted my post and turbo saddle. Weight as pictured is 7.5 kg.
Serial # on b/b shell is CFR0401345

Could this be a nago in diferent livery?

Thoughts and input appreciated.

Just took it for a 20 k ride and it’s quite a nice handler, plenty of toe overlap.

nice pick up! does look a tad small =D

never seen crimped alloy before.

Well, this is nice

Korean perhaps?

interpro on velospace, the place for bikes

Yeah, I did the searching prior to looking at the bike, and all I could find was steelies and an MTB frame. Not to say they didn’t make ally stuff later I guess.

nice pick up man!

Stripped and regreased and set up for a surprisingly comfy ride.
replaced the sprocket with a 17t Roselli(thanks JLN).
Front wheel is a spare that I had hangin about.
25 up front, juuuust makes it under the fork bridge, and a 28 on back.
Looks kinda wack with the saddle to bar height, and the long stem, but it actually feels right for me when I’m on it.
More I ride it, more I like it!
Not bad for a bargain beater.
After the silly season is done and the cash starts to flow again, i’ll look at some better pedals and straps.

Googling some shit last nght and I found some pics of colnago frames(roadies) made with columbus airplane ally tubes. Some of them were crimped and the complete set looked identical to mine, chainstays , the lot.
All the korean built interpro keirin bikes are columbus steel tubes.

Starting to kinda wonder(hopefully) that this puppy is made from airplane.

Only other refeernce or similar frame I’ve found is this //// LSDbikes.com //////////////// - LSD Seo Jung-hyuk

Just found this Jin cycle apparently http://jincycle.com/home/htmlpage/02_product.php

Not sure how to email them though as it’s all korean.
