Ha ha, yeah there are definite similarities, but I guess he knows it, given that there’s a track called Premier on the album.
Listening to another of his albums now; Mad Blunted Jazz. Pretty good too. There’s one album of his that I’ve never been able to find. I used to have it about 10 years ago but lost it, and all I can remember now is that one of the tracks has a sample that goes ‘I love hip hop like Madonna loves dick’. It was a great album.
I’ll take it further… my girlfriends sister (who is a promoter in vancouver) had a long-distance relationship of sorts with dennis. she met him through (I)NC [post his gf leaving] and while aware of refused wasnt aware of their legacy. when she was saying that he had been calling her and they had been hanging out i was mighty stoked. i missed out on having dinner with him at one point.
unfortunately she ruined a couple of bands for me by telling me what dicks they were in real life…
and yes, i was waiting for the 90s hardcore albums to start popping up
does this call for a metal themed event at some stage in the future?
i thought i was alone in my awful music taste!
mad metallica on vinyl…kill em all is so good the old way.
He didnt really hit top gear til towards the end in my opinion, but it was still amazing to see.

a few of my buddies are goin to this, im thinkin bout springing for a ticket.
I wouldnt like to count on a side show.
Watching guys throw themselves of that ramp is good enough reason to go.
