This leaves time for such important items as actually remembering to go to the ATM, buying tickets with the money you needed to go to the ATM to get and getting a raggedy bunch of city kids and their bikes down to the platform. Oh and buying LOTF brekky burgers apparently! i also need 5mins to execute the complicated mason-like handshake Mckenny makes me do everytime we meet.
Past experience has taught us that 15mins wasnt enough as ticket vendors like to take their time and someone is always running late/needs a can of coke/doesnt have ticket money and doesnt know what platform to go to so people have to wait up.
We will likely head to the platform to better secure a train carriage around 8:20. So if you have really left it to the last minute and dont see us, you know we arent hiding from you.
i’m going to eat so much that day. I remember last time we did this and, at the supermarket in Lillydale, i didn’t know what to buy, panicked, and just bought a round of brie. It was delicious.

if you want to take it offroad the cross tyres will be better. also - while 23c will suffice you could ask serena how pushing the pace on skinny tyres worked for her (she binned it pretty hard when her front wheel slid out).
im going to run some lightly-treaded cx tyres… the singletrack isnt crazy technical but the extra tyre width never hurt anyone.
