Have to get some spoke cards done.
But I’m new to Melbourne and dunno where to get lamination done.
I’m gonna print something from my computer and make em to spoke cards.
And how you guys usually stick your spoke cards? by tape?
are you holding an event? running an alleycat? what are they for?
Unless this is a one-off you might be better off buying a cheap laminator.
Cards are stuck between the spokes. ie. you don’t use anything to attach them, you just jam them in between crossed spokes. Don’t try that with a radial laced wheel.
Just go to Officeworks.
Or an aerospoke…
Edit: Aldi had one for 19 bucks…came with like 20 laminate sheets too.
no I just got some cool pics and want to make them into spoke card
The guy on the card is sick
well i dun think i’m gonna make many cards, just a few and should be one-off
It’d be the way i’m looking for!
sir, this makes you incredibly lame.
How about if it’s a picture of the bike that the card is on? Especially if the card is actually on the bike, in the picture?
Even though that doesn’t really make sense, I’m sure you’ll understand what I mean…what with your Inglish skillz.
i stand corrected.
Are people here dont like spoke cards with just random pictures?
this is not a unanimously held belief, but i am of the strong opinion that spokecards should come from alleycats you have ridden.
unless, as stated above, they feature a picture of your bike, with a spokecard in its wheel that features a picture of your bike, with a spokecard… etc…
That would be art.
I’d prefer the big, half wheel sized, Jake The Snake though. One of my favourite WWF wrestlers from the 80’s.
I want a pentabike one,but i agree with brendan, so i have to wait till someone/i throw an alleycat where the spokecard is a pentabike. This may happen if i get my shit together. Current obsession with pentabike: mid to high.
How about the classic ace of spades card? I don’t have one, but my boss insists that it was the cool thing to do when he was young. For people who like a little bit of vintage wankiness, I guess.
Also, John (recent oldest rider winner) collects table numbers from pubs, and uses them for spoke cards. This is what he says anyway, I don’t think I’ve seen any in his wheels.
Also, sorry for double post :-/
You don’t need a spoke card; you need ghettospoke:
