It is a nice build, and an expensive one which - with a few simple tweaks - looks pretty good too.
In our own inarticulate and bumbling way (see how I employ the power of the amorphous masses to my cause there?) we see an issue or two with using some of these components on the road. A bike is of course the sum of its parts, and they must work together for the given purpose. There’s a few people on this forum who have given up a lot of hours and a fair bit of skin to learn how to ride on the road, what works and what doesn’t. Most of them don’t want to see you and your bike at the side of the road as crumpled wreckage. Using tubulars and no brakes in the city is likely to end badly, not because you’ll rip a hole in an $80 tubular, but because you’ll also roll the son-of-a-gun off the rim when you try and whip-stop. If you see sparks it’s too late and you can ponder at leisure the concept of rolling a tyre.
