Sean the other option is a pair of side cutters easily cuts thru valves, cut just 2 valves and the car is stranded. Cut all four and thatās an expensive fix cos all four wheels have to have the tyre removed to refit new valves!

Coming down Toorak Road a black (very shiny) Merc pulls through traffic from the righthand lane, to turn into the street on my lefthand side. I saw what was happening, and yelled a loud āWHOA!!ā to which the lady driver looked puzzled at, as she stopped half-way into the bike lane.
Lucky I have found my yelling voice, or that would have hurt.
had a knob in a wrx overtake me on a lane which had a guard rail and was only just wide enough for a car, and almost hit me. caught up to him at the lights up ahead and yelled at him, and then i rode off as he got stuck in the traffic he was trying to overtake.

That roundabout is amazing. Every morning I take to it knowing full well Iām either going to piss a car off and have it road rage me by daring to indicate that I want to change lanes and go down peel like a āroad userā, get hit by a car that doesnāt care Iām there cause Iām smaller than them, or end up in the middle of some orchestrated chaos because itās just a really well thought out roundabout.
Apparently itās in review of being changed so itās more cyclist friendly. thatās only been happening for (from what I can see) 4 years, so should only be another decade more.
My beautfiul girl had a car pull out on her last night and she went straight into the back and over the boot.
We spent 7 hours last night in emergency and she was released without any major injury to her neck.
She looks like sheās gone a few rounds with Ali and her frame and fork are a right off.
A claim has been lodged with the TAC and off to get a police report this morning. We have a very kind witness also who stopped to help.
The fucked bit is this woman was unrepentant and nearly refused to give over her details, i got them though and boy is she gonna pay!
Also the TAC have a medical excess of nearly $600 before they start paying anything so we will be chasing compensation for this too.
Hopefully she gets more than just a fine from the cops but I highly doubt it.

I almost got head onād by a guy driving the wrong way down a one way street last night (2nd time in this street). Got his number and rang the cops today but got the āunless he hit you or we see him do it, we canāt do anythingā spiel.

Too many cars just donāt give a shit. I have too many near misses each week to post, and thatās just on my ride home from work where I follow the road rules to a t. If itās my fault for being reckless then I will wear whatever happens.
