New Ride - Focale 44

And camoshop, what makes you think i live in fairfield?

Dude, you ask too many questions.

Just spay it all black forget colour blocking.
Just pedal it.

Seriously man, yellow and orange is fine. Just ride the damn thing, stop worrying about selling this part and that part. And for fucks sake, don’t get an aerospoke.

^ in the end build the bike how you want to, don’t rush into it and just buy any bits you see floating around. Your new to the game… so do some research on your frame and see how other people have built them (google is your friend and so is the search link at the top of this page) save yourself the $$$ and possibly some embarrassment. if you just want a “fixie with pretty colours” then you can build a sweet cheap ride courtesy of ebay/star cycles. Though people can only fake interest and be nice for so long before they start tearing strips off you and point out how you raped a perfectly good frame. (the internet at it’s finest)

You’ll find the majority of peeps on this website are into well thoughtout and tastefull builds using classic and/or well branded frames, parts, etc.

I don’t want to sound mean but you remind of a 17 y/o who has just got their licence, mum gave you the daewoo as a present and you’ve gone to supercheap auto and put checker plate, neons and a cannon muffler…possibly some blue mesh in the grill somewhere and ur cruisin’ around thinking to ur self “fuck yeah bro i’m into cars now” whilst not even knowing how to change the oil.

we all make mistakes when learning new things, the key is to learn and grow from them (chappelli build) and appreciate fixed gear riding for what it is… not the hipster gimmick and fad that its currently proclaimed as.

okay okay! settle down peeps.

We are all settled.

good

How’s the saddle attached?

I’m no bike mechanic, but standard saddles have rails (which is what you have) and won’t work on pivotal seatposts (which is what you have).

Can you please elaborate on your seating arrangement?

Also, Aerospokes are heavy and not worth money. Trust me.

Unless he bought one of the Odyssey seatposts that accept pivotal and railed seats. There might be other companies out there.

…I possibly may have jumped to the pivotal conclusion too - some of the cheaper kalloy seatposts look like that when the angle ‘teeth’ are exposed and the top ‘part’ of the mounting hardware isnt attached.

I don’t know… Googling “Demolition seat post” just shows BMX posts… He might want to check the minimum insertion too.

Finished Product!..

Very nice, I like it. Hope it rides well!

rides a lot better. didn’t think a different frame would make a difference but it does so thanks dude! Got better cranks so rides a lot more smoother.
