not sure if these have been posted here before:
would have to see built up to say for sure, but they look quiet nice.

they look awesome, now I’m saving up for one…
Even comes with a chrome fork which is pretty cool (confused because with one of the pictures it has a blue fork :S)
Would like to see it set up or geo
(That love heart under the bb and behind the seat post might become a bit embarrassing…)
And lol, L is 54-55
rethinking, love hearts, small large size, you’re probably right, mean’t for girls?
Interesting … the company is named Brakeless yet the forks are drilled?
i wouldn’t fucking touch one of these with a ten foot pole.
if it was cheaper, i’d rock it.
Favorbikes SPUN Track Frame (NEW) - a set on Flickr
some more from the flickr set.
seems the frame in question is designed for females.
still have not found a built up picture.
edit: here we go:
I think they are very expensive for what you are getting. For another $150 you could get a titanium frame with better build quality.
search ‘Favorbikes’ if interested, they seem to make a bunch of different types of frames.
personally i would spend my money on something better. seems steep for a generic style build and budget fork.
and doesn’t look that great built up. in the first shot, the wheelbase is silly short, and with the upward sloping top tube doesn’t look right. perhaps with shorter forks (650c?) and better bars might come good.
I think these might be built in the same factory as rh+o bikes, as there also produced in taiwan and the seller has heaps of rh+o frames, also the fork that comes with is an rh+o one.
Care to share a link :P?
And, Fixed27, i also thought they were rhpluso but they aren’t on the website so probably not. (maybe a partnership with the forks)
The forks look like shit whoever they’re from, the the chrome just looks like it will flake as soon as you get it wet.
Don’t particularly like the sloping tt on a tripple triangle frame and also how the fuck can you have a frame that’s for a woman? Like geometry spcific or just component and colour specific?
Waste of $ IMHO
I don’t like the seat-stay/seat-tube junction, or the seat-stay/top-tube welding at the triple triangle. Ugly as sin.
I was quoted US$690 landed for a full custom geo, but it would be cheaper if you went for a stock geo. I’ve read heaps about these frames and not many bad reports. Some guys who built up these frame a year or more back are still happily riding them so I’d say they’ve got their moneys worth already. Titanium is notorious for cracking from the research I’ve read, some frames are great (Dean, Seven, etc.) but a few tend to have problems with contaminants in the welds. The factory that these frames are made is an aerospace supplier which gives me some measure of confidence that the QC is passable. I’m waiting to get a bike fit at the moment and may get a custom roadie made up after that I think. Out of interest I have read some unsubstantiated reports that this company supplies Habanero with their frames which are sold at twice the price (still cheap IMHO and comes with a warranty).
There’s a favor bikes doing the rounds in melbourne.
The guy has come out on a few wednesday and sunday rides. The M-Base (tricks) crew are friends with him.
it looks like a lot of other ‘stock’ taiwanese builds components-wise. it was cheeeeep (for him).
I think the welds look great! The cutouts, plate bridge and everything else about it is not doing a single thing for me. I agree that $530 or so could be far better spent.
