niceynice jaseyjase. making me think more about going modern on my roady build…

gene - ahah so true, wife keeps hinting that now with two kids, im pretty much expendable, i think she’s referring to my swimmers haha…

perfect jase, Good Job.

Might have to go for a ride once I get mine up and moving…

coupla daytime snaps while my little ones were nappin, not long enough to go for a decent ride, but long enough to confirm my butt is concor compatible

You have your shift cables crossing at the top and then over each other under the down tube…
The metal to metal contact of the cables might not be the best thing in the long run.

hence the o-rings =D

The o rings won’t stop the cables touching each other though…

sheldon brown says it isnt too much of an issue, i kinda assumed that makes sense as its not like they will be constantly rubbing? and with the o-rings hopefully the friction would be minimal ?

O-ring the bottom one, not the top, they wont rub. I didnt realise that till after I’d done mine.

Or just replace cables every 12 months instead of when they fray then?

Yea if you oring only one cable it’ll keep them off each other…

Or you could run the housing shorter and In to their rightful adjuster… This option it lighter too because your using 20% housing

real nice! btw what’s the rear end opening? 126mm or 130mm? if it was 126mm, any issue fitting the 10speed cassette?

jase you totally need a set of king ti cages… hands down the best cage in the whole world. i’d sell you a couple but one has been long term borrowed and the other sold to a certain FOA frame builder…

gravity - 126, wheelset is 130, just have to hold the rear open a tad and it fits snugly no issue.

kanye - hahah mate, ill make do my alu ones for now =D
