I’d laugh in the face at anyone who spends USD$9000 on that thing. ($5K doesn’t include integrated bar, enve topper, carbon wheels, pedals, hetres, fenders, lights, dumb rack&bag…)

I reckon you could build essentially the same bike from a KHS Flite frame, a carbon track fork and the same drivetrain for approximately $4000USD less. Including custom paint.

Having just literally an hour ago skidded into the back of a taxi (with two Paul Minimoto brakes) - I must say the outcome would have been significantly worse for my new $5000 dollar commuter with only a backpedal break.
