I have a habit of sneaking to the front on the start line of ddcx races. I figure if I get the holeshot, ill win… unless someone is dressed as a welder.
Also had some theories on its safety/visibility factor if I were to wear this on the road. Sure, its bright, and eye catching, but rednecks will probably try to hit me for wearing pink, and the average inadvertent driver will confuse me with a pedestrian zebra crossing, and just plow through me without looking.

Bought the ALAN CX. Willpost pics as soon as the snow calms down.
It has a curious mix of groupset which I was not too fussed about for the price, chorus shifters, shimano (possibly MTB) rear mech and front, and sugino super mighty cranks with drillium rings. With such a hodge podge gruppo, I was amazed by how well it actually shifts.
$180 AUD. Bargain, I love this country, every 54sq bike is cheap as chipos because they are either for kids or women, most dudes have a 60+, so the smaller ones tend to be sold off cheap.
Sounds like my kind of place, if you see any more 54 cx cheap let us know.

They look like mini vs, the levers could be canti or linear, but from my experience mini V’s work fine with linear levers too.
