^ I can’t really see the benefit of mixing materials like that (a few grams aside.) Plus the cluster detail isn’t elegant like a steel frame nor seamless like a carbon frame, so it’s kind of stuck in between.

Carbon seat tubes are pretty common now days,
Seven do heaps, Indy do heaps I think it’s more about tuning the ride quality rather than weight savings.
I really love speedvagen paint and their early frames.
many builders talk about blending tubesets for optimal ride characteristics, oils aint oils etc, it’s a tube where one is needed, use whatever material best suits

^ that’s a curious aesthetic choice from kona.
If you look close, you’ll notice the fillet brazing, which has been performed over the top of a tig weld. This touch not only looks bad ass, but Kona claims it adds strength and durability.

The braze job around the seat cluster looks a bit neater than that one in P!N20’s pic, I think.
I totally flipped for the gold brazed look when I first saw a Roadhouse last year, BIG fan. Then an insurance payout came in, and there was a good deal on one, and next thing you know…
