Glad you approve Evan! Any chance you can tell me more about the vintage of the frame parts, and the process you used to make the molds and tubes? I’ve got 3 more sitting in a box waiting to be stuck together and would love to know more about them.
Date I would say is around 2002-2003. I don’t have any records left. We used to build them with 9spd Dura Ace as a guide.
The first batch tooling we made ourself from mass cast epoxy. When they went to production all steel tooling.
The tubes are mandrel made and still at the higher end off stuff I have done.
The chain stays and seat stay were off the shelf items chosen as time to get to production was tight.
We did sizes 47, 50, 53, 56, 59 and 61. Only handmade tooling for 53cm the rest done in the factory.
We also got to fatigue and destruction test a stock of frames which was the most fun.
All up we had hands on and design on 5 frames in OZ with a further 3 design only.
I was at the hands on end.
I would like to some more again one day but with different materials and tech.

Leader 722RS, their steel track frame with cable guides and derailleur hanger, with a dog’s breakfast mismatch Campy 9 speed group (Veloce front der, shifters, brakes and big ring, Record chain and small ring, Centaur rear der and cassette, Chorus cranks and BB). Bars aren’t normally tilted up like that, but its a bit small and I wanted the hoods a little closer for that tour.
One of four bike projects I want to take on once we’ve made our big move to Melbourne is swapping the group and wheels over to a better fitting frame, with new bars and saddle.
Made some changes to the roadie.
Got rid of all the Zipp gear, replaced with 3t stuff. Ionic Pro seatpost, -17 120 Arx II stem, Ergosum bars, tape and bottle cage, as well as a new Arione.
The way the Ionic ‘difflock’ work is awesome - except that I find that I am in between one of the settings. Guess i’ll get used to it. The angles you can get will be limited by the saddle you choose, or seat tube angle.
Also managed to capture Penelope in one of the rare moments where she sits down and stays still.

Couple of revisions. Re-polished seat post. New wheels, finished yesterday: Velocity Razor grey ano 32H (thanks to Goose) to Athena 2x front and Veloce 2x/3x rear.
