ok, so I am selling some parts and I need to send a crankset to the US of A. I went on the Australia post website and got a postage quote. I said it weighed 1kg-1.25 and to be shipped to the US. they quoted around $40!!
is something wrong? It can’t honestly be $40? can anyone chime in with some help?

yep. i sent two faulty chainrings back to the uk. cheapest reasonable option (ie not on a boat for 3 months) cost me $21. they weighed less than 500g…
Yup. It sounds right. Auspost is probably best for lighter/smaller stuff, but also try Interparcel. Highly recommend them.
