Prawi is the nicest guy. He stayed with me for Polo Nats in 2012.
Has done a bunch of crazy stuff that’s very much in the spirit of this forum.
Met him Brisvegas for 2011 polo nats after he rode from Perth to Melbourne.
He planned to ride to Brisbane but flew to NZ instead then flew to Brisbane from there.
Played polo on a Crosscheck with panniers like a boss.
Thanks for the link Bigadz, I’ve read it all ages ago but it’s always good to revisit stories like this and be reminded that there’s people out there doing it right. Love Prawi’s style!
Get amongst it diddy! Don’t stress about your pump, just think of all the sweet eagles you’re going to see…
I’ve been using a topeak road morph for the last 3 years while touring/mtb as I’m a magnet for punctures.
I’ve had that Lezyne for a couple of year and I recommend it. I also second MikeD’s advice to skip the gauge version. My old one failed at the gauge. Maybe in the intervening years they’ve fixed that though. The pressure release button only kinda works apparently (mine predates that addition, but one of the other couriers has one), just add a smidge of grease (or spit) to the threads or you risk undoing the removable valve core instead of undoing the pump head. Putting the core back in without the tool is a colossal pain in the balls, plus losing all that air that you just pumped in is super disheartening.
The video of Prawza is great lil story, really enjoyed it.
how fat are your tyres?
if fatter the lezyne floor drive mini thingo strapped to that fat bike is great(i would hate to pump fat bike tyres up with though). i took one of these when i went #doatouring in asia.

It weighed nothing and was great the three times i used it. that said, i had stupid skinny tyres i figure you are going more prepared.
