Anyone know where I could find three hole cleat replacements for Quattros? These:
Crank Brothers Quattro Cleat 3 Hole Float - Pair
I don’t mind getting them from Universal but I’d prefer there to be a greater range of stores…

Don’t mean to muddy your waters, but have you considered ATACs ?
Yeah. I also learned that CB discontinued quattro pedals in 2009. Shows how much I’m with the times!
i have some quatros at home that i’ve meaning to offload. hit me up if you want them (for cheap).
spds are fine. i’ve had some issues with them getting a bit ‘stiff’ even when the spring tension hasn’t changed, but a bit of WD40 fixes that. i run them fixed/road/polo/dh/whatever.
heard good things about the time atacs, but i want to run the same pedals on all my bikes and it’s not worth buying 5 new sets of pedals
I can vow for time atac, pedal strikes quite a number times, grinned on the the side kerb once… a good proportion of aluminium shaved off the left sided pedal and it’s still running like new. it’s harder to release than SPD and the cleats are made out of copper so they will worn out fast! the pedals have some float due to the design, I havn’t got any problem releasing the cleats and never came off accidentally yet.
I think you mean Brass. The cleats have to be litterally f*cked before they don’t engage properly, unlike SPD’s. Even then you could most likely still ride with a freewheel - fixed would get a little dangerous by that stage. I’ve found they actually take ages to wear out, never had to buy a 2nd set, still on the cleats that came with my 2 sets of pedals.
I was using 4ti’s for awhile and now use Shimano PDM980’s (XTR) which are a much better pedal for street riding.
The 980’s have a sleeker platform than earlier Shimano SPD pedals and I like the metal cleats instead of the brass type on the CB pedals.
The CB’s would often pull out when I was putting force on the pedals which is not ideal although the Shimano pedals work great.
Eggbeater SL’s or Candy SL’s… You can get them cheap online now that they’ve been superceded.
I ran Candy’s on my fixed and skidded the fuck out of them and never pulled out once. That same set has been rebuilt, is now on my cx and still going strong.
Thanks for correcting my error, I spend around 1km a day walking on the streets with my shoes, it’s been around 4 months and already worn out half way, way faster than my old SPD. The less you walk in your shoes the better, but you can also get SINZ steel cleats for replacement. This will definitely last longer, but I personally haven’t try them yet.
I ended up chickening out and getting some ultegra spd-sl pedals for the roadie. At the very least, it’s compatible with my dad’s shoes and pedals so we can swap bikes if necessary.
And the bearings are really easy to clean/replace.
