Show us your Bike Caves...

No more deployments Henri, been out of the Navy a month now! Not a submarine in sight and that is just how I like it. I think if I said to Superwife dig me a path my wife would not be worth living.

Spirito a pegboard in the workshop space I think will be more than adequate but an awesome tool chest would be sensational. It has been a great area for watching the Spring Classics. Especially when the wife makes me an awesome cheese platter to bring up here as well. Just to emphasize how sensational my wife is, she reminds me that there is a race on and suggests I go and have an afternoon snooze so I can stay awake for the race.

Wife swap?

I think this comes to back to my life not worth living bit. I did mention she is a hot blonde, a qualified masseur and an emergency department nurse so particularly handy for a cyclist. Mind you there is no point attempting to get sympathy for aches and pains when she has seen someone come in with a nail gun injury!

6 pack of beer + wife swap?

In that case, can I get her to have a look at this rash I’ve developed while… Riding?

She has been emergency dept nursing for over 20 years Henri, she would laugh first, make you rub in some deep heat, laugh at you while you cry and then contact your miss us to make sure your dignity was comp, etely removed

All my shit is piled in my bedroom and down the hallway… I’m too embarrassed to photograph it.

my bike cave doubles as my main living room. i have very understanding housemates!

Guessing this is Norm Abram from the New Yankee Workshop.
Very nicely finished.

Mine is something like this. Lounge room, dining room, garage, patio. It’s all fair game.
Wife is somewhat understand but the novelty has well and truly worn off. I’m on notice to clean my bike infestation up.

Put her shoes out on the verge

Fantastic, that is awesome.

Is there anyone of this forum who hasn’t scored with one of Erle’s ebay outings? I picked up his secret squirrel Pinarello last week. Very happy.

Any close ups of the bike rack? I could make use of something like that.

PS. that house looks amazing.

awesome.

here’s a crop of the shed.

it’s basically just a frame with support legs and hooks screwed into it. bout $100 worth of materials all up.

mine used to have its own room, now there is the feature wall in the lounge and the stand and tray pack away when not in use

Bmx ftw

Edit: Just realised that was my 1,000th post. I’m comfortable with that.

Awesome thread, saving ideas for when I get a garage!
