so how about that rawland ravn?

Holy shit man, what the fuck? You’ve been espousing the glories of this bike for pages, and now this? Nice of you to agree with us after all. I suppose.

At lunch I saw a dude ride past on something very similar. I immediately thought #allroadenduro

Fark so much hate!

HAHAHAHAha horatio you are the best

2012 BikeCad of Jed’s Bushranger

And my Rockhopper circa 2013, inspired by Jed

Calling it, Jed started it

^Dunno who Jed is, but I wanna see more of your Rockhopper

Jed’s one of the Commuter mechanics no?

Yup. Jed’s a dude.

Used to work at beach road cycles back in the day with me! Has. A beard but isn’t dafrog or pete or mikdee

I cannibalised it ages ago. Currently working on a MK II build with an identical frame to Jed’s for a planned off road tour. Matchy!

I dug this out of my photo bucket for you anyway, slightly earlier build. Probably my favourite bike so far, but so damn ugly.

I have a build on the back burner inspired by this too eh. Goose’s Trailbreaker actually. I’m using a front wheel and matching rim, with a deore rear hub, all of which I bought off you Rambler. Shimergoing mine. Once the Look’s built, the CX bike is race ready and the WNR bike is up, I’ll build it.

I think I’m going to have to revisit this… If I just had some super supple 2.3" slick tyres for it.
And some more serious upstem action

Is it All-road Enduro? or is it… GRINDURO?

Lolol

TC: still don’t know what enduro is.

If guys can race the classics on carbon bikes with race wheels why the fuck would any one do any different.

Srsly?

Sarcasm maybe? Otherwise IDGI. Fukka crabon bike with race wheels.

I don’t think anyone does anymore…

European race format. A series of time-trial stages across a day with untimed climbing transitions (most often pedal ups, sometimes shuttled) - basically Downhill with some uphill/pedally sections thrown in.

Actually enduro is pretty great - basically its the riding that most mtbers have been doing for doing for casually for years. Its becoming a big thing over here, where we have the hills and (legal) trails for it.

Grinduro / All-road Enduro on the otherhand …

Cos some bros over here do enduro races which are just endless laps of a mtb trail. Sometimes in teams, for like 8 hours. Which to me just sounds like riding a bike in circles, but they talk about enduro this enduro that and ride double squish things and blablabla. Sounds totally different to what you’re describing.

All-road enduro just sounds like riding a bike, but not in circles?
