You’re such a jerk all the time omg
you are
Spotted Caztheturtle on the wet Rapha ride yesterday
Olmate sauntering down Fitzroy st on a concorde roadie, about hit Foveaux hill a couple afternoons back.
Burgundy all city with green batrape running into the door of a stopped taxi as he tried to go past on the inside, on bridge street. Silly move m8.
This thing last Wednesday in or around Pitt St, near Circular Quay.

No link worky.
Oh. It was that Bianchi with a front rack and flowers in a box on the rack.
Oh. It was Suh-Suh-Suh-Suh-Smokin’ Joes, cool, groovy.
Anyone know who owns the fillet brazed steel/clear coated number that was outside Top Shop on George yesterday evening? That was a mighty fine bicycle.
Nope.
The other day I spotted a beardo hipster on a steamroller, with mudguards and a front rack and pannier. Headed over the anzac bridge and turned off to annandale.
^ everyday about 5.15 he goes through there.
Musta busted outta his routine: this was at my normal-ish 3pmish time. Not usually too many supercommuters on the road at that time.
keen to meet any other fixed riders in sydney, i am cruising around on my powdercoated grey brakeless raleigh conversion every day around redfern, broadway and the city so if you see me chase me down and say hello!

Saw Ev’s old Paconi outside Haighs. Also bought nearly a kilo of chocolates.
I saw this guy going over the Anzac bridge heading for the city around 10am last week. Sounds like he’s got the work/life balance figured out.
I also met the new owner of Ev’s Paconi in the street and had a chat to him about it. Was a courier from memory because we were talking about it being the same as Joe’s yellow one.
Thats me! People get the fidgets when I roll past them over the bridge. Shift work makes my commute either super quiet or fuken horrendous so peak time I’ll go ross st and broadway to central instead. Thats me in the far right lane.
Sorry not a hipster, should have mentioned that before… Those mudguards are plastic and rack is sexy in an ugly sense.
Had the same conversation with the guy a while back. Reckons the frame is too small, even though he has the saddle pretty much slammed. Hope he’s come to his senses.
I’ll say hi next time I see you. I commute on a blue khs with guards and a biiiig saddle bag. Your bike looks sweet, but you should get proper mudguards, those raceblades are inadequate imho. But that’s just the beardo in me being a stickler ![]()
Oh, and the reason I came to this thread:
Pretty sure I saw HLC on old windsor rd heading northwest, but I was going in the other direction and was on a mission to go and eat 3 breakfasts. Next time I’ll yell. Do you have a roadie on the go yet?
Yeah I was out this morning, Fiasco Kit / Planet X!
Roadie is in pieces. Should be getting it dialled either tonight or tomorrow - Saddle should get here monday and i’ll be back out on it. As soon as it’s rebuilt i plan on hitting Glenhaven road again. Good climb so close to home! Well, compared to everything I did in Perth (apart from Death Valley) it’s awesome.
Also spotted a guy in an Attaquer Owl kit heading NW on Windsor road as I was on my way back. This was down near Samantha Riley Drive IIRC?
