Na man, just glueing another tub onto it, one of the paving stones was missing in civic and i went right over it giving me a nasty snakebite puncture
a guy on a white track bike overtook me on the way home tonight… he was wearing QUON or something similar cycling kit (blue with yellow). it looked like a nice set up. It was on the bike path over scrivner, he headed toward woden. If youre on here, hello! you look like you ride with good style.
And my wife saw one of the black and gold specials in manuka today, guy with no helment, bushy hair riding along. She also saw and took pics of a very rad many colour de rosa singlespeed with a kid trailerbike… its a really happy looking thing

Haha, Nice spotting Ciaran. I had a few before heading home. Although while sitting in PJ’s a black hoodied fixter rode past…too fast to spot anything of note. Oh and very nice setup, looks similar to my my Hillbrick except really really nice!!!

That’s me. 'bout time I came out of the shadows here… The bars were cinelli valencia or ‘pope’ bars flipped. They are now in 2 pieces 
Was riding that bike most of last year, met BrakeFree back then (pre-disk) and saw a few riding fixed around. My rear hub blew out just when group rides started showing up on here and I’m only now back riding fixed again.
I’m now in Red hill, and saw a lush cream Alien frame with all chrome bits and brooks leather. Also, the Fuji/obey used to haunt Manuka - I suspect the rider works at My Cafe in Manuka and civic…
Also spotted an AIS rower with pink (or was it lime green) deep V’s and gold hubs - was hard not to.

Thats me on the Fluro bike…the wheels are lime green. Ride from the Tute to the boatsheds almost every morning. Also take it on some of our trining rides. I’m new to Canberra and love the riding here

Nothing spectacular unfortunately. I was pulling hard away from the lights and one side came off in my hand. I was pretty lucky they broke that way and not downwards… Chalk it up to inappropriate equipment usage fail, I’d been pulling on those bars pretty hard. Btw, it is possible to ride up Black mountain with 46/16

The frame is just a Specialized Langster. i am looking around for a track frame though, something small and simple. i got bored so i decided to paint it and it turned out fluro. it’s bright but i like it
Saw a nice full black fixie with red centreline tyres outside Harris Scarf in Dickson on Sunday around noon. Looked real simple and very clean.
spotted someone on a fixie crossing gungahlin drive at the lights near mitchell between 8-8.30 tonight. didn’t get a good look at the bike but they had a bmx lid with a flasher on the back.
That would have been me on the Peugeot. Just before i got wet, random rain shower, who would have thought.

well i spotted ed’s surly in the bike shop… something about a seagull? looked sad hangin there wirth out ed but on the bright side got myself a new KHS flite 100 $650 NEW cheap as.
I’m feeling a bit sad it’s been so long since I’ve rode it
