to answer your question, the meet-up is the cricketers arms, fitzroy street surry hills. google map it. its not far from central, but as you may have guessed there is a hill to negotiate. I recommend devonshire street as your best option.
Albion St is a bit milder on the legs too from memory. But I don’t often go up that road.
Foveaux is a one way street heading towards Central so don’t go up it. I’d say go up Albion St pretty much all the way to the end. Turn right down Hutchinson St. The Crix is at the bottom of Hutchinson.
Albion is ok unless you have to stop at the Riley St lights as starting up again on the hill isn’t the easiest.

It’s an Erba, NJS frame. The guy that built the frame is from Kyoto, he apparently retired is now and he is a metal sculptor. She’s a bit banged up these days but I’m not precious with her, good bike though.

Frame is a bit dead now, got a crack right through the seat tube at the BB shell and even that is cracked, a bulge in the top tube and a bulge in the down tube.
