The crit/race thread.

If I remember I’ll ride out to watch next weekend for a bit. The track map makes it look like a triathlon course with hairpins, surely that would suck in a big pack?

Ah! Its not the green, it’s the white D shape thing Wayne Goss Drive.

That makes more sense.

might come watch it too

renewed my licence, should be back at chandler tomorrow night, game on kiddies

Nundah tomorrow. Limited details (ie I haven’t looked for times or who’s running it yet) and will most likely be raining but I’m three fifths keen at this stage.

I’m out. I either have Ross River, Dengue, or one of a collection of joint pain causing fevers and regardless of which one, all I can do is lie down until it goes away.

That sucks man. I’m keen and if I win I will dedicate it to you

:’)

Recon I’m gonna ride my sweet fixay tomorrow with Wookie. I too am coming off the back of the Black lung and may have even over done it a little today so no critlyf for Duggy. If wet Rhys you bring the Felt out for fully hectic sic skidzz n shit ulare. Issuer to god!

What time tomorrow? I might be able to join if its an early one.

7:35 for B grade, 7:55 for C1 and 2. You’d need to be in their system to race there. They are pretty cool though they might let you join their database on the day.

There’s also masters state champs on at Chandler this weekend.

Looking at having a crack in the next Kermesse at the Queensland raceway, March 29, details on the CQ website

Sounds like a good one to watch. If you do race let me know which class you end up in, I’ll probably ride out if anyone else wants to join?

That the same weekend as the Boonah overnighter? Drop in on the way back?

racing for me and the rest of masters c will be at 7am so might be a bit early for you boys

Would be fun, we had a kermese down here using some of the f1 track, really rust a loooong hotdog with a chicane in the middle.
We averaged around 43kmhr for an hour it was insane considering you nearly came to a standstill at each end and real slow in the chicane

apparently its a “paperclip” course… as described by one of the ipswich people, but I saw a video advertisement and I think the u-turns are massive, so it might be a bit more consistent

The corners are huge, third gear in a car. The tightest bit would be the entry into turn three.

You could do an awesome crit on the gc indy track its super narrow and you can party with titans afterwards.
