so there’s going to be Friday night track racing, every second friday beginning Friday the 16th of May, at Chandler, here for more info, $30 entry is tough but there’s equal prize money across all the grades so good oppportunity to make it back, I’m pumped!

this friday the winter series, as linked above, will kick off, will be awesome, catering on the night, coffee and beers and food, will be some good racing, if enough riders show up there’ll be good prize money on offer also

Racing is on again Friday, wish I had the time to hit up Tuesday for some more experience. Still considering entering C anyway to get some laps in.

Track open at Chandler on Saturday - not sure if it’s too late to enter. A lot of entrants

Looks like HPRW have something on Sat morning at Nundah but no indication of a Sunday. Open to other clubs, $10. Got to get onto the HPRW handicapper before tonight if you want to be in it though.

Just read up re: grading guidelines, looks like I won’t be able to ride it cos work.

Follow the directions at the bottom for grading. I emailed them and they put me down as C1 but I don’t appear on the list. Possibly will give this a crack Saturday morning.

probs hungover from tonights shenanigans so wont be available #grogbeforegears

Definitely B for you Rhys - I could win C1 tomorrow, even after Declan’s ride tonight.

Hmmm might have to have a word with them tomorrow then. Already copping shit for riding C grade two weeks ago but that was tough sitting on 43 the whole time.

Here’s a race report from B grade this morning at Nundah:

Two crashes, re-started with reduced time twice and sketchy kents banging wheels trying to ride in a straight line. I assessed the situation as “fuck this” and elected to withdraw.

I was feeling pretty good which is promising noting the SSS starts Sunday the 8th. Entries close on the 1st of feb so get in today!

Dang! What’s this SsS you speak of?

Here’s the Logan CC page with the info:

And here’s where to enter on CQ website:

These crits are serious business if you ask the people who enter them. Proper leadout trains and teams getting organised etc. It’s pretty funny.
Last year I rode one of them in Elite C and blew up after contesting the prime. The pace is not beyond anyone we normally ride with here’s capabilities that’s for sure. This year I’m in a bit better form and hope to at least finish. I have entered Elite C again.
