Me too, I can’t wait to Rick up to say rides and bump a couple of lines down, or turs track just hit a line or two between races.
So I raced the first crit at Noosa’s new track giraween circuit,
I raced b grade, tough track with a fair little pinch in it that starts to really burn towards the end.
A grade was one of the toughest races I have seen, a Noosa local stewy rode off the front on the first lap and kept gaining and laped the main group 3/4 through.
He was averaging in the 50’s or high 40’s
Not bad for a guy in his late 40’s but he rides 1000k plus a week
There’s another one in two weeks so who’s coming up
I’d come up for it, might be in Melbourne though

Yeah ok no win but i hung in and just rolled through,
There was a four man brake away i rode around a few wheels and pulled the group back over to them.
This was at about 43km and took about half a lap, By this time i was cooked and out of contention.
Great fun though.

Can only image the metric fuk load of work involved in shutting down part of the CBD to run a bike race.
I reckon it’s a fantastic spot for the course too: serious pace down Margaret street, plenty of carnage in that north eastern corner, gentle up hill sprint finish
