Sunshine Coast club do still run some twilight crits on the road at yandina and caloundra occasionally, they also ran a twilight series at the new girraween crit track late last year that was great.
I have never raced there road ones though as there Tuesday nights and I usually do track in Brisbane
i hadn’t done fuck all in ages and was cruising in c until the sprint, and i left it all out there and pulled the pin, lame but we had a go, get out there with us, ride a bike, not a new bike.
shirts? where you at? supermanlegs? triumphant return?
supermanlegs dropped 10kg, then put most if back on, and has been convinced he should manage the biggest alcohol venue in Qld (must be hard to find good help these days, because I really wasn’t that interested) . Can’t make it also tomorrow due to kids’ sport. I’ll pop back up one day though - probably when a “race” involves an after party.
I did sign up for Balmoral again this year though, and have done 2 club crits - even finished one!
Scott - when will you let me buy the Orbea track for $500?
Anyone keen for murrarie this weekend? I need to put in a few solid performances so I can get into b2 cos that fits my schedule better than c grade with a later start
Im in for Murarrie this Saturday again. Then shooting across to Nundah for the Lifecycle Crit.
& Nundah HPRW is on Sunday this week.
3 race weekend! woohoo
Goode are you doing a or b? I’ll be in c again, girl at work said its hard to go up grades at murrarie, but I think she was referring to a and b1 rather than b2 And c, I know ill be sweet in b2 I think but its not as cozy as track on Tuesdays, I don’t know who to ask about stuff, I think I’ll aim for consecutive top 3 finishes and that’ll be good enough for me to graduate myself
NO.
They dont let me in B Grade still.
I have won 3 straight Primes & last week the prime & race win in C.
I told him am I 'good to graduate" yet. He said he’ll see…
My mates race B & last week avg 41.3kph.
We ran 42.4kph avg in C.
I did put down for B a few weeks back, and their was a big shit fight and made me
and 3 other boys hang around for 1hr to race C.
I think because my license has “Elite C” open grading on it.
I very much doubt their is much difference at all between
C, B1 & B2. Just got to divvy up massive fields.
I think its just about time turning up and racing their
So this weekend I’ll be racing:
Muzz - C grade
Nundah - Lifecycle crit - A grade
Nundah - HPRW Sunday - B grade.
Do this morning we (C grade) caught and past B grade.
But they tried to come back and pass us, instead of neutralizing.
Both grades got Red flagged and a serveer talking too,
Re neutral/passing etc.
I managed to win again, and asked again for B next week.
She said its not that easy, you need to turn up for 4/5 weeks,
And the system will advise you when you can.
Oh well I tried.
Entered B at Nundah following muzz.
Got the win by half a tyre with the windiest
Conditions I’ve seen out there.
2 from 2.
1 to go
