have seen so many kids doin sick monos lately, including one past the cornish arms on sydney rd on the weekend.
iām well jealous, my monos donāt include finding the sweet spot, once i run out of gear the front drops back down.
too scared to find the balance point. haha

SJ morning ride around bay run and then a hill climb to local coffee shop seemed easier than Monday
NSJ rear derailleur is shit and keeps skipping and changing gears without me touching the shifter

Cheers Rolly, Iām on the speed-dial for so many journos now with anything to do with social media and technology. Always lovely getting messages from friends and family when they hear or see you on the radio or tele though

I havenāt posted in a while so in the spirit of the small joys, some good news that is evident in the ABC article above is that a couple of months ago I was made Professor of Digital Communication. I was only a lowly postdoc who had just started my first academic gig up here in Brisbane when I joined this forum back in 2008, so it feels pretty special to share it here 13 years later.
