surely im not alone in liking the fact that the tv show isn’t EXACTLY like the comics?
also just got a hold of both john safran’s music jamboree and vs god, forgot how good they are!
Daily Show and Colbert are pretty good watchin’ at the mo.
Gotta say how much I’ve been enjoying SBS’ documentary series America in Primetime, looking at television through the years and how it has reflected current-day society. Excellent watching.
That was pretty good. I’m glad SBS are picking up more of PBS’ docos.

• Dr Katz — Hilarious. All of it.
• The Larry Sanders Show — Holds up really well.
• Parks and Recreation — Just awesome.
• Louie — The most soul-crushing comedy ive seen.
• Bobs Burgers — Same dude that did Dr Katz.
• Archer — Funny as hell. Want more.
All true. Waiting patiently for LouieCK to shoot more, the dude is amazing and I will continue to buy his downloadable specials whenever they appear.
Apparentely he’s taking a year off from the show to have some rest. Which is understandable considering he Writes, directs, edits and produces the thing.
It has to be one of the greatest shows on television yet, and it gets better with each series. I love how he’s not afraid to completely ditch any kind of obvious comedy for the occasional episode.
It’s been a pretty good series thus far, the latest episode was a banger and paid some nice homage to classic zombie flicks.
And yeah, the writing in the comics was awful IMO. I’m glad the show hasn’t stayed true to the source.
so walking dead is gearing up for a crazy mid season ender next week! new series of bobs burgers is to my liking as well!
