The Tour thread

if someone busts him up he could get those teeth fixed.

Mixed views on the result. Smart race by CSC & Sastre but would have liked an Aussie to get up.

Roll on next year…Mick Rogers with Columbia behind him.

It’s been a while since someone attacked on the last stage, but i reckon its due to happen again.

I know why he got angry, cause the guy touches his saw collar bone with the mic, then pretends to pat the lion and touches his collarbone again to see what reaction he gets

However i do not understand this one:

Yeah, he’s acting like a precious little bitch. Grow up buddy boy.
Following his time trial yesterday, there was an interview on the news where he said that Carlos Sastre rode an ‘unexpected’ race in the time trial… Why couldn’t he just be a man and say that Sastre rode bloody well?!

How was the viewing at the BCC club rooms?

“Unexpected” = Cadel thinks he is on drugs!

BCC Club rooms was awesome, riding mini track bikes everywhere. Nath took a great stack in front of the screen wiping out in front of everyone. Hilarious considering he rarely falls unlike myself

Heheh my thoughts exactly! Mini bikes were ace fun … I’m thinking we need to hold a mini omnium at the clubrooms some time.

I haven’t read the whole thread, and i’m sure other people have mentioned this, but how fucking useless was popyvich!?! what a waste of that tiny budget that cadel mentioned today. van summeran (sp?) seemed to put up a fight on a few stages, but i guess popo was the guy that cadel got on board for some real support, but i cant even remember him making the last 10 in climbing selections the whole race. the one time he does go up the road (PRESUMABLY in support of evans) he stays away.
shit house

I hadn’t seen these photos before, from a few years ago apparently. Hope the rider/cameraman gave him a good belting.

Stuey has been giving it a red hot go all tour, he always seemed to be on the front, driving the bus.

Was keen to see Cadel win, but seeing CSC ride into Paris with the yellow bar tape me so happy. Seems like such a unified team. Anyone see O’Grady’s comments in The Age? Spoke like a rider with a hell of a lot of team spirit which to me suggests maybe there manager does a great job of unifying everyone and making them understand their role etc.

I love tilt-shift photos. It makes those riders look like plastic models from a train set

Wow great photos
