Made a Kubb set from some hard rubbish before and after work today.
All ready for summer.
Finally got some time to work on this - front and rear Knog re-strap mounts. Just need to source some silicon rubber bands but the fit is perfect, and the rear prototype is printing now. Woo!
Would the garmin rubber bands work? If so, I’ve got some spare
Maybe, the only thing I had on hand were some fairly inflexible rubber arm bands that weren’t stretchy enough. Will try some options.
This seems to be a good solution for getting some more use out of Knog lights that have been warrantied - and would otherwise go to landfill - perfect on a pub bike or something that the additional bulk isnt a problem. Once I test the rear I’m happy to print and post for people for a small fee (just the price of plastic+post) or send out the .STL files, as they are based on one I found online for the front light.

this is so good, id look into finding longer o-rings ones and mounting onto the headtube!
Rear fits perfectly also - just need to source some rubber rings.

Testing out the new mini-lathe (bit of an impulse purchase), made a few fishing lures with spare timber from the workshop.
Up there with one of the best <$100 purchases I’ve ever made.

You can get them from lbs if you ask nicely.

If you use those, break the edges. Sharp bits esp on inside will wreck cables.
Getting harder to source except at an LBS who knows retro. Files and installed, the cable entry run in is actually dished inwards with a 2.0mm hole. Smallest bit I had. Would like to go 1.7 but will see.
