The 'what you've done to your bike today' thread

I really like this. ‘lugged’ carbon is rad.

i really need to get my arse on a saddle sometime.
my cadence is about 50wpm

50 words per minute?

Hey dudes,

I’m new to this place, I haven’t really done much to the bike today apart from ride, repair flats and take a photo or two…

Bought some M520 pedals for the new build, but decided I’d try them out on the fixed commuter for a few days until all the other parts arrive.

Pics or it didn’t happen… given it has no pedals…

Awesome bike but!

Haha yup pic was taken when leaving Dayne’s place the night before…

organised a few of them thanks to a old display rack from Commuter. So much better, now just need to put some hooks in the wall for the rest…

fuck me

Quoted cause awesome.

Ha, not all mine, three peoples bike collections in there but still that’s not all of them pictured…

New frame arrived. Had everything at work ready to build. Went to fit headset to find it was a 1" not 1 1/8". Friend has saved the day with a new headset. Fitted BB, cranks, rear wheel, rear brake and derailleurs as placeholders. Hoping to build it up Monday night.

Got my Mavics back rolling nicely on this.

pretty much. talk about riding more than riding about riding.

Spent most of the weekend gluing tubulars…

Dusted off the double discs for next weekends Individual Pursuit. Front tyre wasn’t holding air so newly stretched Vittoria Pista Evo CL glued on. Also 2 layers of glue on the Vittoria Evo XG’s and FSA carbons (2 more layers to go) for next years CX season. Two layers of glue on the Zipp 404 which will also see a new Vittoria Pista Evo CL to replace the tyre flatted a couple of weeks ago at DISC…

Also finished wiring up the Track SRM to the Planet X Track frame bought quite some time ago specifically for Pursuiting duty.

Now I know what street you live in…stupid roadworks. Nice ride.

On topic: swapped the 27 x 1 1/4" wheels for 27 x 1 1/8" so I can re-spoke the narrow ones for my retro road project.

Rode it on some gravelly roads then Jan-bombed it.

The grand bois cypres 700x30 measure 32/33 on my a23 rims.

Put my NJS tubs on, then put it in my living room. Then on Instagram.

Sweet.

Finally got around to changing the headset on my SS apollo. It was so pitted I struggled to ride no-hands anymore.
The new $10 jobby is sweet by comparison.

Whenever I talk to people about cups/cones etc being pitted I always think of the above.
