eGR is 1x
44t chainring and 10-45 for road and 10-51 for gravel is my gearing choice currently. Have asked on Chinertown if eGR will run a 10-51. It is specced as 10-50 only. I think I can get a 10-50 but ztto which can be hit or miss.

I havnt run a front derailleur in a long time.
you could get something like internal routing bicycle cable housing
Interestingly, internal cables on a lot of 1980-2010 period steel and aluminium frames often had a guide tube incorporated into the inside of the tube so it was really easy to replace cables. Apparently no longer done…
Still far easier to stick the cables on the outside tho. ![]()
Classic Perth behaviour.
To be fair i have separate bike for the hills, runs 46T chainring.
Which ive actually gone down to 40cm bars from 42.
Thanks Jason. The groupo has had more hits than the Beatles now anyway.
If I get the eGR it can go onto the the new frame with wider tyres when I get it
