The 'what you've done to your bike today' thread

one day…

edit:main-2.jpg (image)

why not have two chains? a single chain doing all that would probably fuck up because of wacked chain lines and lack of contact with chainrings. run a double on the bottom frame, single up top.

Looks like i didn’t study your photo enough to understand the chain, damit, I had that BMX chainring but the chain didn’t fit :stuck_out_tongue:

Beast!

Also, I’d only really need one chain, cos the bike will be fixed gear.
I think I need a separate thread for this.
I’ll start it tomorrow.

tall bike thread, do it

why not just run the chain from the top chainring straight to the wheel? I don’t know much about this sort of a thing, but I just thought that way you don’t have chain a plenty

Edit; Would I be right in assuming it is so you have some horizontal adjustment?

New decal for my bike

aweosme ! ^ pm’d!

When you get the information, mind posting it up jasey?

Nothing to it really. White sticker paper from Eckersley. Google image search. Microsoft word ‘word art’. Access to a laser printer.

As I mentioned to Jase though. I tried it with water slide decal paper and it almost fucked my printer. So can’t make any with clear backing.

polished up a set of v’s for the colnago. could go some more but i’m done with polishing for the moment.

After nearly a month of sourcing parts and finally fitting new cranks and a bottom bracket this afternoon, took it out for a gentle ride… 20 minutes later I get a flat and no spare tubes to be found :frowning: Not a happy afternoon to say the least

Took the drops off my On One il pompino, fitted FSA K-Force carbon risers for stuntz

^That bronx poster is mint.
Where did you get it from?

I’m liking this Sime

JohnLLL: Poster is one of a set designed by Rhys Cooper who has done a bunch of posters for them (the other poster is out of the picture but next to it) they were only sold in pairs and it was picked up from the last tour where The Bronx was supported by Mariachi El Bronx at Billboards.

Horatio: This setup works way better for me as the Il Pompino is kinda long in the TT as it is, The bars are pretty wide 660mm, I’m not sure if i’ll trim them yet…

next step will be some mini v’s, carbon forks with tighter geo, and a new lighter and blaaaack wheelset

Cheers Sime.
I missed the last tour unfortunetly. I definately would’ve picked them up. Ill have to do a bit of a search on the net.
Cheers.

new extralite top cap, expander and jockey wheels on the serotta…

Took out the Malvern Star sealed Shimano BB (because my bike was knocking when slowing down / resisting), cleaned the threads, regreased the threads and re-installed the BB. The drive side cup was pretty loose, but now… Problem solved!

I also put old yellow Vittoria tires on it because I am going through all the tires in the shed and using them til they die.
