Being a grand designs expert, I know:
- you will be planning to be in by Christmas
- it will be the wettest/coldest/snowiest/hottest year ever
- you will be expecting a baby by the end
- Kevin will initially be cautious about your design choices but blown away by the end
- You will chew up all of the contingency
I wish I had the time to be in your shoes…
- We have booked Xmas lunch at our place.
- It has been the driest + hottest summer so far.
- No baby (we are living with the inlaws… what is sex?)
- Kevin from wonder years or Home Alone?
- Contingency is chewy.

Kitchen Colours (so far)
White drawers and cupboards at floor level, timber for the top shelves. Dark grey kick board and concrete bench top.

Yeah, every time she gets on site she is in high vis. The father in law used to work in construction so we have a huge supply of every colour.

What colours the house going to be?
This hasn’t been locked in yet - The only thing locked in colour wise are the windows, which is a dark grey… almost black (monument). I think we will be going for the dark grey and a lighter warm grey… as you know, this is a hard decision for me… which is why you are taking the piss
