Front rack kickstand!
Needs a bob ibex tho
There’s a Koga Touring bike on Gumtree in Ballina, been for sale for a while.
^ These are pretty much the default commuter for 45+ year old middle manager types around Canberra
^ I sold that bike to the original owner who walked the Camino.
The Kogas are next level beardo, but they’re amazingly finished bikes.
i just saw it at a shop and asked about it, but i didnt want to take it for a ride, cause its more off road then i intend to do at all.
it just looks pretty damn cool though.
yeah i saw that. but too big for me…
damn
Forget for a moment how ugly the Koga is, its not tooo bad
i’ll see MikDee’s relatively benign koga and double down with this:
my mum and dad hired one in holland.
weighs like 35kg and folds in the middle so you can get it on the train
That looks like a lot of hard work to just ride, let alone fold and get on the train…
im leaning more towards the specialized Awol. its army green colour, someone posted a pic of it a few pages back. arrives mid september i have been told.
Eh
Word on the street is that they weigh a ton.
^MINE DOES!!!
but for a complete build ready to go i don’t regret buying it. i use it more off road than anything though.
do wish i stumped up the extra money for the comp. Have learned that lessons well and truly now.
your weighs a tonne? so you got one? please tell
make a cuppa, get comfortable and read this. Much discussion on the pros and cons (mainly cons) of the awol.
Jimmy is in boston, but there are a few poler awols floating around this country.
A friend has the Poler collab one. For what he paid for it, (I suppose there was an #exclusive premium), I don’t reckon they’re worth it. Lots of no-brand parts, only Sram Apex? levers and derailleur, etc. An weighs a ton, yep. Oh and they’re super ugly IMO.
Still a couple of Poler AWOL’s available via bikeexchange too.
