Touring bikes.

One worth considering may be the Dirtworks house brand tourers, Wayward. They have them on CLickbike.com.au for decent prices at the moment in a lot of sizes.

The Allegro T1 is probably in a similar league to the Fuji Touring

Allegro T1- StKilda Cycles

Mouldy has one, very happy with it.

cool, i appreciate it.
i didnt think it was the case but part of me was like oh oh.
i thought i was copping some grief for posting the clip which i thought was kinda cool, but could understand it being pretty “in” at the moment. Its kind of the equilivant of the mash dvd for bike touring.
these comments are really helpfull.
im trying out a friends surley, long haul trucker this weekend and i’ll go from there.
My ultimate plan is to cycle south to north of japan.

I just sold a Shogun Metro :stuck_out_tongue:

one of my friends is doing this (or pretty close) very soon.
He will be doing it pretty quickly though

he will have done a bunch of research if you end up wanting more info.

The Fuji touring bike is on sale at saint cloud for $880. Good deal.

rode my friends long haul trucker today. damn they are a comfy ride.

Bang on. German’s tour on some real wacky shit. See example below. These (see photos below) are two of the three Germans I met while doing my Canada to Mexico thing. The other German I met was in my dorm the first night I got to SF. We started drinking in the bar downstairs and got chatted up by a cougar for about an hour before her husband turned up to take her home. In conculsion; Germans bring some weird vibes.

Holy shit.

It seams a strange thing to do to just keep adding tubes to your bike until you feel you’ve got enough bottle mounts

Pedersen.

Yeah, Ray Thompson who used to have the In Gear bike shop in Burwood had one. He kept in on display in the store.

I had a close look, he reckoned it was very comfortable.

Although, with Ray’s bike, that top tube wasn’t a tube at all, just a hammock type thing.

checked one of these out today.

large

that’s a lot of bike, more suited to gravel roads.

did they have the 520 disc on the floor?

this is more what I think of when I think of ‘Euro’ Touring bikes, yuck

I used to play a game touring in Europe, guessing where someone was from based on their bike.
