Looking for a track bike at the moment and have spoken to the DHBC about the sessions at Tempe. Think Jimbopome is thinking along the same lines too. Must admit I was looking at riding track before, but Sunday was the perfect introduction and has just left me wanting more.

Hey. Was anyone on the day hiring a 58cm?
I have a 58cm square track frame to give away for free. The proviso is that it must be used to get into track riding - not street.
It was given to me for free on the same condition. I’m passing it on as it’s too small.
These things you say, they make sense.
I live in Tempe (very convenient) and the place rocks, it’s even got its own Harry’s Cafe De Wheels, so it can’t be that bad. The track is no more than a 5 min walk from Tempe Station, probably 20 min walk from Sydenham. You could ride the Hillbrick from Syd to Tempe - it’s mostly up hill so you don’t even need to worry about being brakeless, oh except the one big downhill - you’ll be fine.
If it was a 54 I would’ve bitten your hand off. Someone needs to take this offer up.
