At a bike show in the US, interbike 09, a few bloggers posted pics of the Velocity stall with neat B43 rims with neat images. Fitting for the Vegas casino theme is this roulette wheel:

I like the Aerohead. I like the Synergy. I like the Razor. I like the P35 and the A23.
But sometimes, I wonder what goes on in the back room of Velocity (crazy eyes, sperm, roulette, polka dot, B43s…)

I think that the crazy picture sticker rimz were a failed experiment. as for b43s, that was a major success. may not appeal to weight weenies, but the kidz love em.
me, I really like my aeroheads. don’t know why more people dont use them.
I’m about to put a B43 front on my single speed for a laugh. After looking at it closely, it’s a pretty stupid design- extremely heavy, poor rim joint, non uniform surface finish, and not even milled for brake!

Too right would god awful on any bike I can think of, they get it right with the one offs sometimes though, I wouldn’t mind a set of the faux woodgrain deep v’s

Themed bikes look dreadful when they’re American marketing bullshit dude. These could be genious!
a vegas theme should be all white, covered in rhinestones, have the roulette rear rim and a solid disc front with a picture of the “welcome to las vegas” sign painted on it, i might even build it then I’d be heaps cool, id ride it until all the laughter of onlookers reduced me to tears
They’d be laughing WITH you dude.
The ‘theme’ bikes can be over the top, but a clean and simple bike with just one bling accessory would be neat.
