Just picked up a Technics SL1200 mk5 in superb condition…not exactly vintage, but an excellent turntable all the same…time to bring out the vinyl after years of vinyl drought
These will run forever. You can get a more serviceable, tougher and better sounding turntable IMO

Not to burst your bubble but they won’t sound amazing - but I’m not sure if they are being bought for regular use a or just an occasional listen?
Just an occasional listen in the manspace although the one for $190 does sound pretty respectable considering it’s age and price. Good enough for my ears that are pretty ordinary from 20 years in engineering spaces.

i’m chasing a technics turntable at the moment, somthing like the s 1200 series, i had the full set up, but when i moved away my dad ditched the turntable thinking it was fucked, just got the speakers amp and eq shipped over so i need turn table to get the records spinning

They pop up on the bay regularly so you should be set. I’d still buy local and insist on hearing/testing just to be sure.
