I was down there yesterday morning. The surface is rough in places but really hard, like it’s been cast that way. I prefer it when it’s all mud and lakes 
good ride with a good crew on a great (new) bike.
according to the computer i got 52kms in. this does include me taking mckenny on a brain-befuddling loop around yarra bend that had me lost twice.
bruces loop is in easily the best condition i’ve seen it in months.
I wanna see this new bike ASAP nik!

There was a whole lot of amazing shit, scary downhills, tiring climbs, rock gardens, river crossings, massive drops, blood, gous on downhill bikes & full face helmets, and overall TERROR.
