winners don't use drugs.....

I wonder what we’ll be saying about Cadel in a few years.

So do I… its a shame he’s tarred with the same brush due to the chequered history of the sport. Having said that, he was rated in group 4 in that leaked 2010 TdF UCI document detailing risk of doping based on the biological passport thingo. Others in that group include sanctioned riders Levi Liephiemer, David Millar, and the squeaky clean Lance Armstrong. Vande Velde rode with Armstrong/Liephiemer at US Postal too and that team was dodgy as fuck… not it cast aspersions. My opinion… he’s fucking spotless.

Also… UCI = useless as tits on a bull so i dont know how much you can read into that report.

Opinion: Richard Moore On The Career Of Jan Ullrich | Cyclingnews.com

Puts Jan and the 90’s into perspective well

Best part about this article:

“It is a farce that is confirmed by a study of the updated results of the 2005 Tour. With Ullrich’s third-place finish now airbrushed from history, Francisco Mancebo steps up to the podium. That’s the same Mancebo who, like Ullrich, was forced out of the 2006 Tour when his name was linked to Operacion Puerto. In fact, of the revised top ten, eight riders have either tested positive, served a ban or been under investigation for doping”

The highest ranking rider in that top 10 in 2006 who has never been sanctioned is Cadel.
