Even when the dopers are found the process and the outcome still stinks.
Throwback to cyclingtips’ Secret Pro section was pretty interesting I thought.
Arabic name. Blel has his origins in Algeria. Nice hey!
Agreed, there was a great story from INRNG about Itera, Markov and UCI connection a while back too.
Meanwhile Tony?? Why you do that?
Edit: Or De Marchi?? Why you slack off? Just for dots then leave Tony on his own? Suppose he thought Tony’s used to it
Gotta love Tony Martin:
The German spent nearly 150 kilometres off the front all told, on an exacting day that featured no fewer than six categorised climbs, yet he still managed to ride at a startling average speed of 40.1kph and finish 2:45 clear of Gallopin’s sizable chasing group, which had closed to a little over a minute before his attack on the Markstein.
“I knew there were 28 guys around 30 seconds down and if they chased us down, it would have been hard because there would have been counter-attacks,” said Martin. “I didn’t want to play those silly games so I went full gas.”
ftfY: Tony Martin gets totally busted using total hard man awesomeness
Paolini. Zero Fucks.
So Nibbles decided one day out of yellow was enough.
And Porte has nabbed 2nd, don’t think the Sky machine can keep him there so he’ll be pat malone all the way to Paris.
And Conti, poor bugger.
shattered re. contador. Love that man.
Me too.
Porte speaks almost an unenthusiastically as cuddles…
Me three. A broken shin apparently.
Nibali is impressive, no doubt. Way to show who’s the boss. Also enjoyed Purito’s work.
Porte makes me giggle when he says he’s the only one who responded to Nibali’s attack at the end. Richie, didn’t you finish 7th behind Peraud, Pinot, Valverde etc? You were the first to respond, but a lot of guys followed. Don’t lose your cool, the road is long yet. Sorry, L’Equipe link again: Tour de France - Porte : «Je suis le seul qui ai répondu»
I just wish he’d tell us what he means. I mean…
I think it’s gone from open ended and exciting with the exit of Froome, to possibly a done deal. Probably a bit premature, but Nibali has got an enviable lead.
The real point of interest is when Talanksy will spit the dummy entirely.
Love him or hate him …
Sucks for Contador. He was looking good. Just hoping someone else can challenge Nibali now and keep the next week of tour climbs interesting.
Maybe. But I think the rest of the podium and the top 10 is still exciting. We’ve seen the Frenchies quite a bit, hope they can pull something off.
The hope is that the longer, less steep, climbs to come will suit Porte better and give him a chance to take time back.
But Nibali does look hard to beat. Though, I was saying that two days ago about Contador, and ten days ago about Froome.
Given all that’s happened, it’s hard to believe we’ve still got 11 stages to go, and haven’t even hit the Alps or the Pyreness yet.
you must be confused, Bastille day is already passed. Everyone knows that’s the only time French riders see the front.
But What about TJ?
Isn’t it his time?!
to bin it, break something, and then pull out?
