oh my god
Richie just made a perfectly fair evaluation of the DurianRider IMO
Check out @CalebEwan’s rocket missile position:

Yeah. The best comment on that video “When you have to leave the hairdresser early to race Richie Porte” lollin.
I like Porte a lot more now.
Will at Commuter has some excellent stories about ol’mate durianrider.
Oxygen thief indeed.
He is the definition of nimrod

I smell toucan.
EPO-laced toucan in the downtube turning the cranks.
I really like Viviani. I was about to say that he seems to have an old head on young shoulders, but then I read his Wiki and realised that he just turned 27. But he is a very smart rider who finds the shortcuts and gets the best out of himself.
Froome might have a aesthetically horrible style on the bike but holy eff can he get it moving up hills really quick. It’s amazing IRL.
He’s pretty fuckin good at attacking the yellow too…
Which I can see being a problem, though I quite like it. I like a guy who wants to fight and attack and take the win and isn’t satisfied with second or third if he thinks he can take the W.
$0.05 contribution right there.
All well and good until you burn every person who was gonna help you get yellow in july.
I can smell the return of sensations.
Can see him getting punted out on the first few stages, to make the event worth watching.
Coquard “flipped over like a pancake” on his TT bike when passed by a truck
This happened to Rohan Dennis a couple years back during the nationals TT. But just a gust of wind, he flew up in the air apparently.
For Coquard a combination of strong side winds + truck crossing and creating a draft protecting him, as the truck drove past he flew away (running discs wouldn’t have helped either)
Broken scapula for the poor guy, Paris-Nice is out of his program.
