Aero Helmets

and all the evades have been recalled…

A guy raced skcc crit Sunday with a giro air attack,
Got dropped though so clearly they don’t work.
The air attack looks pretty good for proper track riders though

its not very interesting

so far ive only seen two mamils with these helmets but it is still early days of TDU week

cant wait to see more

ask for autographs

I saw a 12 year old girl at the track last wednesday wearing one of these.

Did lol.

Did not lol as much as when I see the guy racing C grade (slowly) with his laser bowling ball helmet/visor.

the best thing about all 9 pages of this… NONE of these helmets are legal in Aus yet…

so anyone rocking them in a race can get done. the Evade was the only one with standards, and has now been recalled.

like anyone but whittlesea cares about helmet stickers!

In the last few months a few of my mates have started using the evade and air attack for track. When the coms don’t check the stickers they’ll use them for crits and RR’s as well. Snnneaky. I reckon they’re gradually coming into the scene.

I’ve got one of those and it is by far the airiest, most invisible feeling helmets I’ve ever had.

if you want to look like a mushroom from super mario bros but dont really want an aero helmet you could get one of the POC helmets

have been informed Bikebug now have the Kask Infinity’s in stock.

i’m rocking a KASK Bambino this weekend, on the bike, I’ve worn it around the house a bunch, but will report back about how rad I looked whilst wearing it

I can vouch for that ive seen the selfies with nothing on but the helmet #foreverscared #washingmyeyesoutwithacid

Thank you for this post, It was a great read which was extremely helpful.

Go the $5 bike share lid !!

Tales from the llama stable: Aero Road Helmet Testing - Round 1 (Prevail, Evade, Melb Bike Share)

Who knew the dude at 7-11 was selling such technically advanced equipment?!

and thanks to POC they don’t look that bad…

dont vent the heat…reflect it.

^ now cavendish can check himself out before and after the race, and also during if he gets one of his teammates to wear one.

genuinely considering getting a bike share helmet for TT’ing.

i KNOW i drop my head too often and the tail of my “aero” lid sails into the air - will be funny rocking a full TT bike, disc… and $5 bikeshare helmet!

Tried on a couple of Lazer helmets the other day. I gotta say, they are so unbelievably comfortable compared to the Whisper, which I think might just be an odd shape/off size for my head. The question is whether I dish out for a helmet I don’t particularly need, but would feel more comfortable in. The consumerist part of me says “Then you’ll have a backup if you mash your noggin into the ground so do it also because good.” and the rest of me says “You seriously don’t need to spend $150-250 on something you already own.” which is far more sensible.
