The Munchkin series - card game that’s got heaps of RPG elements to it.
ugh, Munchkin sucks, seemingly no skill or stratgey really beyond knowing how all the cards go together, I refuse to play it with a mate now (well, that was nerdy)

We played Ticket to Ride last Saturday night while watching the Blues Brothers.
It was a good night.
I played this on the weekend and my wife and I loved.
I’m borowing it off my friend from work. I can bring it along tonight for mid-ride gaming
I play this on iPad all the time. Pretty good

only just saw this thread now. Couple of things.
NYD a few years back me and some friends (PlanA was there) decided to learn and play Risk as a fun hungover thing to do. It turned out to be 8 hours of treachery, deceit and paranoia. Im not sure any of of us fully recovered. Also we didnt entirely get the rules right, so by the end there was a cold war style stale-mate where noone could win
Would like to try Diplomacy. I hear its a real friendship ender.

Settlers Of Catan. — Because Catan
Libertalia — Fun Pirate game. easy to play drunk. the point is to fuck over other players .
Ticket to Ride —trains. I suck at it. everybody destroy me at this game.
Netrunner. —Best game ive ever played. Also the nerdiest (made by the Magic The Gathering dude). Fucking love this game. Its rad. Highly, Highly recommend. so rad. i wanna play it now.
Pandemic — Co-op game. some on this forum (PlanA) find this game dificult to win. Me and wife find it a bit easy. so not sure whats going on there.

• Each time Phil Liggett says “Dancing on the Pedals”, take a drink.
• Each time Phil Liggett calls a rider “Boy”, take a drink.
• Each time Paul Sherwen says “On the rivet”, take a drink.
• Each time Paul Sherwen says “And he’s popped”, open a new bottle, fill everyone’s glass and take a drink.
• Each time Liggett or Sherwen remark on the riders taking a “nature break”, go ahead and take one yourself.
• Every time you see the Devil, take a drink.
• Every time you see the Clean Bottle, go and wash all drinking vessels.
• Every time you see a rider toss a bottle to the side of the road, throw away all empties.

I play netrunner occasionally. Easy to get the hang of if you have someone in the know just explain it rather than read the rules. My bro is pretty into it; he buys the cards, builds the decks, we play, and if i win it is the greatest feeling ever.
