I should mention; it takes some research. You need to figure out which side of the street the truck comes down first - if you miss the first pass you won’t get another chance. Even then, there’s no guarantees, they might switch up the order just to fuck with you.
Our place in Preston was a court, so we couldn’t do the swap to the other side thing. But at least our neighbours were fine with us popping extra stuff in their bins if there was room.

Cross threaded a cassette lockring on a brand spanking rear hub a few weeks back.
Hacked the threads (back to ‘good enough’) with a box cutter and a file.
Is now fixed.

holy shit! i didn’t go for about 10 years (16-26ish) & regret it. now i floss 2-3 times a day & keep on top of all my check ups. dentists are fkn expensive & fucked teeth suck.

No pain and nothing has fallen out yet, touch wood. I never had any work done as a child when I did see the dentist, even at a time many of my classmates were getting fillings and whatnot. I don’t eat much sugary stuff these days, but when I was younger I ate and drank plenty. Just brush twice a day. I think flossing is only for gum health.
This has been my earworm for the last few days of 2020.
