Carbon frames compared!

Newb question, but it almost looks like those guys training above are using straps?
Why would they be?

I think they would be clipped in and be using straps as well. Just in case.

The guy at the back needs bigger quads

fixed.org dosen’t let me edit anymore :frowning: skip to 7:31. ^

skip to 7:30…like isaac said up there.

^^^ would use the opportunity to fuck around for a km, some wheelies, maybe a sick skid or 2?

Something similar with the GB bikes. They were ‘available’ online, but you had to make an enquiry which, if you got a response, gave an astronomical price and a waiting period of a few years. I don’t think anybody ended up with one.

Chris Hoy’s “available to the public” track bike. I found out that he uses a 1" fork so the front end of the bike can be made more aero.

Will post in this thread later when I have some time. I love it already.

This thread really makes me want a new frame. Fuck.

Those in here who race - I’ve wondered if we should start our own thread to talk about just track racing/post pictures of bikes that have actually been ridden on a track (not being elitist, just out of interest). Thoughts?

Road and CX/MTB have their own section, don’t think it would be too unreasonable for track to get one too? I’d be keen.

Delete bike polo/fgfs

Heck yeah. Coming into track season too. I promise not to post 800 pictures of my DLN PLS or my legs.

Are we going to have to show our gold licence at the door to be allowed in???

Does a gold Aerospoke count??

Only if its tubular.

A little birdie tells me these will be available soon. New season BMC launch is happening in a couple of weeks…
