Someone just told me that these bikes don’t have colour matching parts because they are used for racing and apparently those guys don’t even care what their bikes look like. Can someone confirm or deny if this is true?

I imagine finding Dura Ace FC-7710 cranks in black would be very hard.

I would have thought Shimano would be all too happy to give Mr Cippolopllilillnoini some black cranks!

don’t post again in this thread until you’ve gone and seen jason nichols at inspired orthotic solutions. sure, his pictures of the australian pursuit team all have scribbles on them, but when you look closer, those scribbles all say “thanks jason for all your help - we couldn’t have done it without you” and that kind of thing. tell him you’re uncomfortable, then let him tell you if you need a shorter head tube or not. he knows a lot more about it than you.

Isn’t the story about FES frames - to conform with UCI rules for frames being available to all that the shop front opens for a few hours once every year and orders take many years to be filled and you are quoted some ridiculous price?
