^ and epicness.
Pretty good indeed!
Isn’t that for your front-bum?
Yes.
Also between the toes, under the foot arch, around the heel, between the thighs, on the nipples, at the top crease of the bum crack, under the ball sack, under the armpits. (Pre marathon ritual)
-
around the neck for wetsuit rash in triathlons.
-
around the nostrils and lips with a really bad cold.
Have never ever actually had a saddle sore - never on the bike long enough I guess.
Seriously though, I always carry a lip pack of Vas in the jersey on any long rides.

I’m all flustered
Use Aussie butt cream for long rides, good stuff. Worth knowing if your junk agrees with menthol or not.
You put it on your crack and then on your lips WTF.
Since we’re on the topic of chamois creme, anybody figured out a method of putting on prepared bibs without the cold, clammy touch of the chamois on the leg? Makes me shudder everytime.
^ I don’t put it on the bibs, direct application to the plums and under-carriage, that way it’s where it exactly needs to be. Bibs are dry. Sorted.
Also feels nice
someone never studied chemistry at school or university.

Yeah, but that lavender’s from the Alpe d’Huez.
you can’t even tell its lavender with the black and white filter. makes it more mysterious/epic though i guess
Settle down Walter White
can’t. there are two things that really rustle my jimmies. scientific ignorance/stupidity/illiteracy and having dirty ears.
…apple seeds contain cyanide.
inner or behind?
If you want to go all extra nature-nerdy there plenty of recipes out there for chamois cream that use very simple ingredients (shea/cocoa butter, olive/almond oil, something mildly antiseptic like ti-tree or euco oil)… or you can go all caveman with nappy cream/bepanthen/vaseline.
ive found assos to be great, rapha sounds good but is expensive, attaquer didnt have much actual ingredient source information, and the sachet of ABC was neither here nor there.
have wanted to try morgan blue and udderly smooth for a while. bag balm gets great reviews as well and i looked into some local versions a while back but nothing stood out.
or you can bulk buy papaya ointment which a number of distance riders i was talking to recently swear by.
the best solution is to buy good, well fitting knicks and keep them (and you) clean. then you dont need chamois cream!
