that looks like a front, mounted on the rear…??
Bingo! I gave that to Spider. It only fits his frame cos the rear stays are fat and ovalised, lucky fluke. Weird thing is that brake was fitted to my Raleigh when I bought it. Why on earth would you clamp a brake to a road frame?
yeah that’s weird. hmmm, chances are unlikely it’ll fit the hillman, which has thin, round stays.
doh.
Yeah there’s no way it’ll fit your stays. What are you smoking Spider?
Yeah Spider! Stop being so helpful!!
helping like a jerk!
Totally. Spider knows he has fat stays he just doesn’t like to admit it.
Last time I try and help anyone.
It would work easy!
Just need a couple of washes and Robert is your mothers brother.
Infact it’d work awesome because the end of the oval clamps would fit perfectly to the little round stays.
too late, this fucker is drilled.

ha ha…
that was a funny way to end the thread.
Drilling can be ideal if you plan to ride the bike a lot…looks best, works well.
I have fitted hundreds of these kits, and sorry, should have chimed in earlier with
some info…
The clamp on kits work great, and we rarely, if ever, have problems, other than the
obvious scratched paint, but they work well with clear vinyl (electrical) tape applied
in between the surfaces, which fixes that problem…
hey ren, cheers for the reply, but yeah, I drilled the rear bridge & am runnin a front caliper on it. works a treat & bike gets ridden a lot.
