Just noticed today the train crossing at Westgarth station is horrible especially if you are heading towards Merri parade. Wouldn’t go smashing across that one if you have a nice set of wheels.

there is a newish tofu place just a few doors down to south which I’d never seen before. Looks like some nice stuff if you’re that way inclined.
If you’re ever in Carlton, Don Tojo on Cardigan st is the same as Don Don. Well, maybe 98% as tasty. And maybe 105% the price. But still a win
Now I am disappointed, was thinking of a trip to Don Don but Don Tojo is my local so no real point making the trip…
The out-bound side of Swan Street has just been resurfaced, and it’s gorgeous.
There’s also one in South Melbourne, just off St Kilda Road. It’s usually quieter, and I think the serves are bigger. Not that anyone needed a bigger serve of Don Don. It keeps me happy and un-hungry for two days.

not enough rain for my liking. only one short heavy patch (one min at most), the rest was either really light drizzle or non-existent.
I thought I’d made it… then at the lights it started pouring.
Only had to ride about 1km in it, but that was more than enough to be water logged.
Fair shout… more rain would have been better. So much for the “torrential downpour” and “flash flooding” the people in the radio were bleating on about this morning.
it did happen, a mates backyard out in the east was 6 inches under water.
I had a muddy pair of sidis when i left home, and a clean pair when i got to work. win!
did get a bit wet, but it wasnt cold and i did some sweet skids coming through the CBD passing traffic.
traffic was in its usual level of mental impairment.
Observation: Kebai Satay is shitting amazing.
Question: Does anyone know where I can obtain an unmachined black 32h velocity deep v. Mine is pringled. I have tried BSC, Pista bikes and Velocino with no luck.
